If you are currently registered with the NDIS and have funding allocated for transport services, you can register to become a client with SWCT/ ATA.
You can call us on 1800 634 787, or email us at ndistransport@swct.com.au. If you are eligible for our services, you will be required to complete a Service Agreement. Our friendly team members will work with you to create a transport plan that suits your individual needs.
It will take approx 24 - 48 hours for your details to be processed, and for us to organise any relevant wheelchair or access risk assessments.
Clients living in NSW will have to call ATA on 1800 634 787 to make their bookings, or they can book online for transport that is non-urgent.
Clients living in Victoria will be given a direct line to their local taxi company, and they can make their bookings direct by quoting their ATA customer number. ATA will work with your local taxi company to ensure that all costs are accurate, and you are invoiced correctly.
SWCT vehicles are fitted with hoists and the appropriate restraints and anchor points to transport wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices safely. Our taxi partners have wheelchair accessible vehicles and maxi taxi's that will accomodate wheelchairs safely.
If you are Plan Managed, we can claim your transport services from the NDIS portal, or if you have a Plan Manager, your invoices will be generated and sent to the Plan Manager for payment.
If you are Self Managed, on initial intake, you will be required to take accept responsibility that you will pay any invoice accured for transport, either with your NDIS funding, or personal income.
